This workshop will delve into the intersection of race, gender, and mental health, offering strategies to improve treatment outcomes for Black women. Attendees will gain valuable insights into addressing the stigma surrounding mental health in Black communities and learn how to foster a supportive therapeutic environment.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understand the cultural, social, and systemic factors contributing to depression in Black women.
